Kerr Acoustic
K300
The K300 is the most reviewed loudspeaker Kerr makes and the one the awards have followed: Product of the Year from Stereo+ in Norway in 2023, ninety-six per cent from the same magazine in 2022, five stars from What Hi-Fi? in 2024. It is a two-way — a 180mm sliced wood-fibre cone and the 60mm ribbon, crossing at 1.95kHz — in a cabinet 420mm tall that weighs twelve kilos and reaches 33Hz. That last figure is the whole argument for a transmission line: nothing this size has any business going that low. Its line exits at the front, so it can live closer to a wall. In its third version, the mk.3 reworked the crossover for a cleaner midrange and tighter imaging. A matching stand system is available separately. Above it, the K320 is the same speaker given room to breathe.
